Spring Day – 1st September 2011 Casual Day - Friday 2nd September 2011 Casual Day stickers will be on sale to the children at school on Friday 2nd September. However, all orders must be made with the class teacher in advance. The stickers are R10 each, and participation is NOT compulsory. Children may wear civvies on Friday 2nd September if they are participating in Casual Day. All monies raised will go towards helping children with disabilities. St Peter’s School supports children with disabilities. |
This year’s Fete raised just over R50 000 and, once again, I convey my sincere thanks to the PTA and the rest of our parent body for their support and hard work. Through the R500 fundraising levy, we raised another R100 000. The school can only succeed in its mission through the commitment and support from parents, and I thank you all for your contribution. The PTA is the engine of any school’s fundraising and I encourage more parents to come forward and volunteer their skills and time. Thank you to all the parents (and friends) who came to support our féte on Saturday. Young and old alike enjoyed themselves immensely, and the event was a remarkable success for the school. Thank you sincerely to Mrs Gina Ditcham who convened the féte this year. Thank you too to all the moms and dads who dedicated many hours of their time helping at the féte. I salute you all!

The PTA held its annual Golf Day on Friday 20th May. The event was a resounding success. Well done to the organisers for all their hard work and thenak you to thos who came out to support. The date for next year's Golf Day is Friday 31st August. Please diarise and we hope to see many more more paticipants in 2012.
